By joining TAG, you receive the opportunity to participate in the activities below and to ensure the future well-being of emerging and established Washington-Baltimore gay and lesbian artists. There are many ways you can become involved with our dynamic and exciting group. All of the activities listed below came about because one member said "hey, I'd like to do this."

Group Shows
TAG organizes shows in galleries, universities, and alternative spaces and offers excellent opportunities for art scene newcomers to curate shows.

Individual Shows
TAG members support each other's efforts to get shown, and network to further our contacts in the local art scene.

Workshops
We often work with area artists who share their techniques and media with members in studio demonstrations. Subjects have included: documenting your work, felting, furniture making, neon, and portfolio development.

Drawing Salons
Male, female, and mixed-gender sessions are held regularly with professional models.

Field Trips
Members organize excursions to local and national venues.

Community Building
Members share news of competitions, shows, studio spaces, and other information of interest to us as artists. Our combined knowledge and contacts are among our greatest strengths for encouraging individual success. Most importantly, we encourage each other to create work, and improve the work that we are creating.
